Thanks to Covid it has been over two years since I have dived and I have serious withdrawal symptoms. The Maldives would not have been at the top of my dive locations as I regard it as too romantic for a solo traveller. However, the advantage is that there are limited travel restrictions and no covid testing on arrival. I call Trailfinders to see what last minute deals they can find me. Apparently none…. I would say this is still a flipping expensive holiday partly because I have to pay full price for the room even though it is not fully occupied. Anyway it is just great to be heading somewhere warm before winter fully kicks in. I decide to stay at Angsana Velavaru for 10 nights on an all-inclusive basis. It looks lovely.
