Crossing on My Trip in 2019

It will be 4 years since I last visited the Serengeti Mara to watch the wildebeest migration. This time I shall be accompanied by my good friend Jane and we are hopeful of seeing some spectacular action. We shall be staying at Olakira Mara Camp for five nights and then flying south to Usangu Expedition Camp in Ruaha. Both camps are run by Asilia whom I have used before. I am confident that we shall be comfortable and have excellent guiding. The experience in Ruaha will be very special, as we shall be able to participate in research activities such as telemetry, radio-collaring, tracking and more. As ever, my trip has been organised by Africa Travel Resource. They know Africa and the camps initimately, I always speak to Clare Grim and she knows well what I do and do not expect from my safaris. Number 1 is truly expert guiding and number 2 being as remote as possible. This of course is tricky in the Serenegeti during migration but I bet we still manage to escape the crowds most of the time.
