The last two years have made me realise how much I love nature and wildlife photography. The first three months of lockdown made me focus on local wildlife and hone my skills on the amazing wildlife right in my back garden. However, it also made me realise that I have a deep rooted love affair with Africa. As soon as Botswana was off the red list I called my travel agent for some trip ideas. My brilliant agent Clare at Africa Travel Resource came up with several options and to my amazement Botswana turned out to be the cheapest. Definitely not what I expected. Although February is the green season I opted for Botswana. I knew spotting game would be hard but the birdlife would be astonishing. I hope you enjoy sharing my experiences….
